‘Bigg Boss’ changed Zubair Khan’s life, revealed depression and suicidal thoughts

New Delhi . Former contestant of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’ Zubair Khan has once again spoken openly about the difficult phase in his life after the show. He claimed that the incidents that took place on the show and the controversies that arose thereafter had a deep impact on his mental, social and professional life.

Zubair Khan participated as a contestant in ‘Bigg Boss 11’ aired in 2017. During the show, he described himself as a member of a family associated with the underworld, after which he came into the limelight. Later, he had a heated argument with fellow contestant Arshi Khan and his use of abusive language.

In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the show’s host Salman Khan had strongly criticized Zubair Khan. After this, Zubair’s health deteriorated and he was also sent to the hospital for treatment. Later he was eliminated from the show due to less votes.

After coming out of the show, Zubair had also filed a complaint against Salman Khan. He alleged that due to the incidents on the show, his public image was damaged and he stopped getting work.

In a recent interview, Zubair Khan said that he struggled with depression for a long time after the show. According to him, personal life was also affected and there was distance in family relationships. He also claimed that during this period he had suicidal thoughts many times and had to take medicines to overcome mental stress.




  • Zubair said that people made assumptions about him on the basis of a TV episode, which caused huge damage to his social and professional image. He says that he lost a lot in this entire controversy, but nothing was gained.
