Amid death threats, Salman resolves petty Bigg Boss fights: ‘I am bound to do this’

New Delhi: Salman Khan’s life is in potential danger after notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi sent a death threat to the actor. Despite the looming threat and the murder of his good friend, politician Baba Siddique, Salman Khan has not been having the best time. Amid such instances that have created havoc, Salman returned to shoot Bigg Boss season 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar this week.

With high-level security surrounding him 24/7, Salman Khan shot the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Friday, October 18. More than 60 specially trained security personnel, the Bigg Boss sets were under strict lockdown with heavy checking and identity verification. In the episode aired on Saturday, October 19, Salman Khan was seen conversing with the contestants in a sombre and collected manner.

Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan preaches will power amid death threats

During the highly-anticipated weekend dose of Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan, the show started without any of his usual quirky and light-hearted banter. Diving straight into the drama-filled events of the past few episodes of Bigg Boss 18‘s second week, Salman Khan called out the contestants ‘privileged behaviour’. For context, despite having access to a basic food ration, a few of the contestants went on a rampage to get luxury items inside the Bigg Boss 18 house.

Not only this, while speaking to the ’90s actress Shilpa Shirodkar about her hunger strike demanding an apology from fellow contestant Avinash Mishra, Salman hinted at the personal problems he has been facing in recent times. Advising Shilpa Shirodkar about not attaching feelings to the words spewed inside the show, the host reminded her about how Bigg Boss 18 is a work commitment that she needs to successfully undertake.

“Like today, I have a feeling that I did not want to come here. But a man has got to do what he has to. This is a commitment and my job, so I am here. I didn’t want to meet anyone, I didn’t want to me you guys (Bigg Boss 18 contestants), but I am bound to do this,” said Salman Khan. Encouraging the contestants to have willpower and strong thinking, many wonder if this was Salman’s advice to himself during such tough times.
