27 ministers of NDA, complete mathematics of seat distribution

According to sources, this time a total of 27 ministers from the NDA alliance can take oath. This will include 12 ministers from Bharatiya Janata Party, 11 from Janata Dal (United), and 2 ministers from Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). Whereas Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha are likely to get one ministerial post each.

What is 50-50 formula?

This time power sharing in the cabinet has been decided on 50-50 formula. This means that both BJP and JDU will have equal number of ministers. Since the post of Chief Minister is with BJP, equal strength is being given to both the parties by balancing the number of ministers.
