Bihar: CM Nitish Kumar pulled the hijab of a female doctor, Congress released the video of the lewd act and asked for her resignation.

Patna, 15 December. A strange scene was witnessed during a government program in Patna on Monday, when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar allegedly pulled the hijab of a Muslim female doctor. Congress termed this act of CM Nitish as a cheap act and released a video in this regard and demanded his resignation.

According to the information received, this incident took place during an appointment letter distribution ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s residence, where newly recruited AYUSH doctors were being given their appointment letters. Meanwhile, when a female doctor came in hijab to get the appointment letter, Nitish Kumar pulled her hijab while talking to her.

Congress Party released a video on Twitter and fiercely targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Congress wrote, ‘This is Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Look at their shamelessness – when a female doctor came to collect her appointment letter, Nitish Kumar pulled her hijab.

Nitish should resign immediately, this cheapness is unforgivable.

Expressing concern over the safety of women in the state, the party said, ‘The man holding the highest post in Bihar is openly doing such despicable acts. Think – how safe will women be in the state? Nitish Kumar should immediately resign for this disgusting act. This cheapness is unforgivable.

The woman seen in the video has been identified as Nusrat Parveen. In the footage, Nitish Kumar is seen asking the female doctor about her headscarf after giving her the appointment letter and instructing her to remove it. Before she could respond, he allegedly pulled down her hijab himself.

The woman was clearly surprised by this action of the Chief Minister while other people present at the event were seen laughing in the background. A total of 1,283 AYUSH doctors were given appointment letters at the event, which included 685 Ayurvedic, 393 Homeopathic and 205 Unani practitioners.
