Bihar got great news! The picture of this railway line will change with Rs 190 crores

Patna. Another big step is being taken towards strengthening the railway infrastructure in Bihar. Many development works are being done on the Gaya-Koderma railway section at a cost of about Rs 190 crore. The objective of these projects is to provide better facilities to the passengers, make rail and road traffic safer and accelerate the overall development of the region.

Paharpur railway station will have modern development

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Paharpur Railway Station is being extensively modernised. About Rs 28 crore is being spent on this project. Modern entry gates, better waiting rooms, attractive lighting, advanced facilities for passengers and clean environment will be developed in the station premises. With this, the efficiency of the station and the experience of passengers is also expected to be better than before.

Better facilities for disabled passengers

Railways has also given priority to the needs of disabled passengers in this project. Ramps, easy entry ways and other necessary facilities will be developed at Tankuppa, Gurpa, Dilwa, Bandhua, Banshinala and Paharpur stations. The aim of these arrangements is to make railway stations more accessible and convenient for all passengers.

Three new road overbridges will be built

The largest part of the project focuses on making road and rail traffic safer. Three new road overbridges (ROBs) will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 142 crore. These ROBs will be constructed between Gurpa-Paharpur, Paharpur-Tankuppa and Tankuppa-Bandhua railway sections. After their construction, it is expected that along with getting relief from long jams at railway gates, the risk of accidents will also reduce.

underpass, foot overbridge

To increase the convenience of passengers, a new underpass will be built near Tankuppa station. Whereas modern foot overbridges, ramps and stairs will be constructed at Dilwa and Banshinala stations. Apart from this, the platform of Dilwa station will also be raised, which will provide more convenience to the passengers in boarding and deboarding the train.
