Bihar government is giving land for 1 rupee, apply till 31st!
Patna. There is great news for those who dream of setting up industries in Bihar. The state government has started a new initiative with the aim of increasing investment and providing employment to the youth, under which entrepreneurs will be given land at a token amount of just Re 1. This initiative has been named “Bihar Industrial Investment Incentive Package 2025”.
The aim of the government is to increase the number of industries, generate employment on a large scale and reduce the compulsion to move out of Bihar. The last date of application for this scheme has been fixed as 31 March 2026. Instructions have also been given in this regard.
On what investment will you get land for 1 rupee?
Under this special package, land will be allotted on the basis of investment and employment generation potential. The key terms and conditions of the schemes are as follows:
100 crore investment + 1,000 jobs
10 acres of land for industrialists
Token amount: Only Rs 1
1,000 crore investment
25 acres of land will be provided.
For Fortune 500 companies
10 acres of land fixed for an investment of Rs 200 crore.
Additionally, BIADA has announced a huge 50% discount on its land prices for other investors. This is a clear indication that Bihar is ready to support investors in every way.
What other benefits will be available apart from land?
Entrepreneurs can get not just land but also many important financial benefits. These include: Interest subsidy up to Rs 40 crore 100% SGST refund, or NET SGST reimbursement up to 300% of the project cost, Capital subsidy up to 30% for a maximum period of 14 years. Investors can choose any one of these options as per their requirement.
How to apply? (Completely online process)
Application for this scheme can be done through online portal, its process is very simple. You go to the official website of BIADA, biada1.bihar.gov.in. Register by going to the Apply Online section. Fill your name, address, mobile number and required information. Your email ID will become the login user ID. Complete the application form by setting password and upload documents.
