In Bihar, land will be available for just Re 1, the state government has brought this special scheme to promote industry and employment.

Bihar News: Bihar government has launched ‘Bihar Industrial Investment Incentive Package 2025’ to promote industry and employment on a large scale in the state. The objective of this scheme is to ensure that the people of Bihar do not have to go out in search of employment and a strong foundation of industries can be laid in the state itself.

You will get land for just Rs 1

The biggest feature of this package is to provide land at a token amount of just Re 1. The government has clarified that land will be allotted to entrepreneurs on the basis of fixed investment and employment generation. Units making investment of Rs 100 crore and employing 1000 people will get 10 acres, while those with an investment of Rs 1000 crore will get up to 25 acres of land. At the same time, 10 acres of land will be provided to Fortune 500 companies on investment of Rs 200 crore. Other investors will benefit from 50% discount on BIADA rates.

Government is also giving financial incentives

Apart from land, the government is also giving many financial incentives. These include interest subsidy up to Rs 40 crore, 100% SGST reimbursement, or net SGST refund up to 300% of the approved project cost. Industrialists have also been given the option of capital subsidy up to 30% on the project cost. These benefits can be availed for a maximum period of 14 years.

• To apply under this scheme, you will have to go to the official website.
• Here you will get the option of Apply Online. First you have to register.
• For registration you will have to provide your name and address. Your mail ID will be your user ID.
• Login will be done using the password created at the time of registration.
