The Agriculture Department is busy preparing to make the Bihar Agriculture Digital Platform more effective. In this series, a plan has also been made to connect the agricultural services of Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour with this online platform. With this, better and reliable information related to farming will be available to the farmers at one place.
Lakhs of farmers already connected
So far, more than 12 lakh farmers have joined the Bihar Agriculture Digital Platform. Through this platform, farmers are being given information about weather, crop related advice and new farming techniques. The government’s aim is to connect more and more farmers with this digital facility, so that they can get the right information for farming at the right time.

After connecting the services of Bihar Agricultural University, farmers will get the benefit of advice from agricultural experts, training programs and research related information. Agricultural weather advisories are being given to farmers on the basis of information from the Meteorological Department on the digital platform.
