Bihar Board 10th Result 2026: Bihar School Examination Board has released the result of Matriculation Annual Examination 2026. This time a total of 81.79% students have achieved success. The special thing is that this year also the board has released the results in record time.
Two girl students topped, scored 98.4% marks
Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that two girl students have jointly secured the first position in the Matriculation Examination 2026. Pushpanjali Kumari of Simultala Residential School, Jamui and Savreen Parveen of Higher Secondary School, Chauhat, Vaishali have topped with 492 marks i.e. 98.4 percent.
139 students, 57 girls included in top-10
Education Minister Sunil Kumar and Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore jointly released the result. Board President Anand Kishore informed that this year a total of 139 students have made it to the top-10, including 57 girls.
More than 15 lakh students had participated
A total of 15 lakh 10 thousand 928 students had appeared in the Matriculation Examination 2026. These included 7 lakh 84 thousand 871 girl students and 7 lakh 26 thousand 57 boys.
More than 12.35 lakh students were successful
According to the data released by Bihar Board, 4 lakh 43 thousand 723 students have passed in the first division. 4 lakh 75 thousand 511 students were successful in the second category. Whereas in the third category, 3 lakh 3 thousand 103 students have passed. Overall 12 lakh 35 thousand 743 students have been successful in this examination.
Result released in 28 days, again a record
Bihar School Examination Committee Chairman Anand Kishore said that this time also the board has set a record. The examination ended on 25th February and the result was released within just 28 days. Last year the result was released in 29 days.
