Such is the political career of the emperor

Samrat Chaudhary’s political journey has been continuously progressing. He started his career in the late 1990s and became the Agriculture Minister in Bihar Government for the first time in the year 1999, this was the time when he made a strong mark for himself in politics. In the year 2000, he contested elections from Parbatta assembly constituency on RJD ticket and won. By winning this election he strengthened his hold in the area.

In the year 2010, he once again won from Parbatta Assembly and was the Chief Whip of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly. During this period, Jitan became the Urban Development and Housing Minister in Ram Manjhi’s government.

Time passed and with it also the ideology of Samrat Chaudhary. He left JDU and joined hands with BJP. In the year 2018, the party appointed him the Vice President of Bihar. After this, in the year 2020, he was elected member of the Legislative Council and in 2021 became the Minister of State for Panchayat in the Nitish government. In the year 2022, he became the leader of opposition in the Legislative Council. President of Bihar BJP in the year 2023. In the year 2024, he was elected leader of the BJP Legislative Party and became the Deputy CM of Bihar. Samrat Chaudhary has become the new Chief Minister of Bihar after moving forward one step after another in his political journey since the 90s.
