Youth of Bihar shined on the national stage, the country saw the power of talent
Bihar News: The youth of Bihar performed brilliantly in the 29th National Youth Festival organized at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on 12 January 2026. The event took place on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, which is celebrated as National Youth Day. Youth selected from 36 states and union territories of the country participated in this program, but four youth from Bihar made their special identity.
On this platform, the youth of Bihar proved that they are ahead of the country not only in studies but also in art, thought, leadership and creativity.
Parth Kaushik got second place in the country
Partha Kaushik of Bihar secured second place in the entire country in the national oratory competition organized under ‘Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue’. This achievement is considered very big because the best youth selected from across the country had participated in it.
In his speech, Parth presented India’s development, role of youth and future thinking in a simple and effective manner. His ideas impressed both the judges and the audience.
Mahima Maurya sang ‘Vande Mataram’ in front of the Prime Minister
Patna’s Mahima Maurya was selected in the country’s special ten-member singing troupe in the folk song category. This troupe presented ‘Vande Mataram’ in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This presentation was telecast live on DD News across the country. The performance of Bihar’s daughter Mahima on this historic stage became a moment of pride for the entire state. Even though Bihar team did not reach the finals, Mahima’s selection is a big achievement in itself.
Ayushi Arya put forward new ideas on development
Ayushi Arya from Patna was selected for PPT presentation in ‘Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue’. He presented his new and innovative ideas to the Prime Minister.
Ayushi explained how youth can take India forward through technology, education and startups. His ideas were greatly appreciated.
Deepak’s painting became a special gift
Bihar did not lag behind in the field of art also. Deepak was selected in the painting competition and his painting was chosen to be presented to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.
This shows that the youth of Bihar are making a mark across the country not only in studies but also in the art and creative fields.
Bihar government’s full support to the youth
Secretary, Department of Art and Culture, Shri Pranav Kumar said that the confidence and quality with which the youth of Bihar have performed on the national stage is a matter of pride for the entire state.
He also said that the Bihar government will continue to provide every possible opportunity and support to such youth to advance them, so that they continue to bring glory to the country.
