Patna Firing Case: The audacity of criminals is continuously increasing, defying law and order in Bihar. Now criminals are not desisting from targeting the general public as well as the guardians of the law. The latest case is from Masaurhi, a rural area of the capital Patna, where on Friday evening criminals made a deadly attack on a police team. Masodhi police station in-charge Rahul Kumar and Inspector Sanjay Kumar have been seriously injured in the rapid firing by the criminals. After this sensational incident, there is panic in the entire area. Top police officials have reached the spot with heavy police force and the injured have been immediately admitted to the hospital.
Police had arrived on the information of kidnapping of young man
Regarding the incident, it is being told that Masauri police station had received a secret information on Friday evening. According to local people, some armed criminals who came in a Maruti 800 car forcibly kidnapped a young man and took him near Talab Ghat of Manichak locality. The criminals were beating the young man with weapons and his life was in danger. Meanwhile, an alert citizen informed the local police about this entire incident. As soon as the information was received, a team of Masaurhi police station, without wasting any time, left for Manichak Talab Ghat with full alertness so that the life of the young man could be saved and the criminals could be caught.

As soon as they saw the police, the criminals opened their front.
As soon as the police vehicle reached Manichak Talab Ghat, there was panic among the criminals present there. Seeing themselves surrounded by the police, instead of surrendering, the criminals attacked the police team. The miscreants started firing indiscriminately at the police with their guns. The police team did not get a chance to recover due to this sudden firing. During this time, a bullet from the criminals hit the leg of Masaurhi police station in-charge Rahul Kumar. On the other hand, Inspector Sanjay Kumar, who was fighting the criminals, also got hit by the firing and a bullet went through his hand.
Injured policeman admitted to hospital
Despite being injured, the police personnel did not lose courage and gave a befitting reply to the firing by the criminals and retaliated from their side. However, taking advantage of the darkness and stampede, the criminals managed to escape from the spot. Immediately after the incident, other policemen present at the spot admitted the injured police station in-charge and sub-inspector to Sub-Divisional Hospital Masodhi for treatment. After first aid, the condition of Inspector Sanjay Kumar is said to be stable, but due to the serious condition of Police Station Incharge Rahul Kumar, the doctors have immediately referred him to Patna for better treatment, where he is undergoing treatment.
Heavy police force deployed in the area, search operation continues
As soon as the news of this attack on the police team in broad daylight was received, there was panic in the police department. Police forces from several nearby police stations immediately reached Manichak locality. Sub-divisional police officer i.e. DSP Kanhaiya Kumar also reached the spot with his team and took stock of the entire matter. Police have sealed the entire area around Talab Ghat. Different police teams are continuously conducting raids to identify and arrest the criminals.
Here, on the matter, the police officer says that the situation is not completely clear yet, but two of our soldiers have been injured and are undergoing treatment. An intensive search operation is being conducted to nab the criminals and soon they will be behind the bars.
