Bihar School Teacher: Why is the government collecting home addresses of 5 lakh teachers? Big reason revealed
The Education Department has suddenly issued a very important and big instruction for about five lakh teachers teaching in government schools of Bihar. As soon as this new and strict order of the department came out, there was a lot of panic among all the employed and BPSC teachers of the state. According to the new rule, now every teacher will have to register his/her current and permanent address online in every case.
The Education Department has made it very clear that all teachers will have to login to the ‘e-Shiksha Kosh’ portal and give their complete personal information. Just filling the information will not suffice, along with this they will also have to compulsorily upload their new residence certificate. The real objective of the government is to create a completely accurate and digital database of all the teachers in the state, so that the department has up-to-the-minute information about which teacher is actually living where and in which school he is posted.
Every moment information will have to be given on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal, no trick will work
According to the new guidelines issued by the department, teachers will have to fill the complete details of both their addresses very carefully. Just writing the name of your city or village in this will not work at all. On the portal, you will have to enter even the smallest and accurate information like your district, block (block), panchayat, village, ward number, post office and pin code. Teachers who have already filled their addresses on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal are also not relieved. They will also have to re-check the information given by them and if there is any mistake in it, they will have to update it immediately.
Just filling the form will not work, this government paper will have to be uploaded
Teachers will have to take special care that merely typing their address on the portal will not be considered sufficient. Along with this, they will also have to upload the scanned copy of their valid residential certificate on the portal. However, the department has given some relief for those teachers whose current and permanent address is exactly the same. They can easily submit the same information at both the places by clicking on a special option (tick box) given on the portal, which will save their time.
After the time is over, you will not get a second chance, the entire data will be frozen.
The Education Department has taken a very strict stance in this entire matter and has already warned the teachers in strong words. The department clearly says that after the last date fixed, the data of the entire portal will be ‘frozen’. Once the data is frozen, no teacher will be able to make any change, editing or correction in his address even if he wants to. Therefore, all teachers have been strictly advised to avoid last minute haste and upload their correct information on the portal in time, so that they do not regret withholding salary or taking any other action later.
After all, why is the government collecting the complete home addresses of teachers?
A huge internal planning of the Education Department is going on behind this entire big exercise. As soon as this entire online process is over, the department will have clear and solid data as to which teacher is actually a native of which district or area and where he is currently residing and doing his job. Through this, the government will also be able to easily calculate how far a teacher is living from his school and his home area, which can have a direct impact on his transfer and posting policy in the coming days.
Married women teachers face a big dilemma, maternal home or in-laws?
This new order of the government has put thousands of women teachers of the state in a big dilemma. The most mental problems are being faced by those women teachers who get married after getting the job. Now a big technical question has arisen before them whether they should enter the address of their maternal home or that of their in-laws in the permanent address column. Along with this, there is confusion regarding whether the residential certificate should be of maternal home or in-laws’ house. At present, to solve this confusion, women teachers are waiting for a clear and new guideline to be issued by the Education Department.
