Bihar train accident: Some trains canceled and others diverted due to operational reasons
Lucknow, 28 December. In Bihar, rail operations have been affected due to the accident of a goods train between Lahaban-Simultala (LHB-STL) section under Asansol division on Saturday night.

According to the statement issued by Kuldeep Tiwari, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Lucknow Division of Northern Railway, due to the above incident, some trains have been canceled while some other trains have been diverted to ensure the safety of passengers and continuity of operations.

- Train No. 12317 Kolkata-Amritsar Express, (JCO: 28.12.2025)
Instead of its scheduled route, this train will be diverted to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. – Gaya – Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. Will be operated through the route.

- Train No. 13005 Howrah-Amritsar Express, dated JCO: Canceled on 28.12.2025.
- Train No. 13006 Amritsar–Howrah Express, dated JCO: Canceled on 30.12.2025.
- Train No. 12369, dated JCO: Canceled on 28.12.2025.
- Train No. 12370, dated JCO: 29.12.2025 canceled (due to non-availability of rake).
