The face of villages in Bihar will change, Samrat government released crores of rupees for MNREGA

Bihar News: Bihar government has taken a big step towards strengthening the rural areas of the state and making the people there self-reliant. The government has approved a large amount of its share for the financial year 2025-26 under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme i.e. MNREGA. An order in this regard has been issued by the Rural Development Department. This decision of the government will not only strengthen the infrastructure of the villages, but will also provide work to the laborers living in rural areas on a large scale.

Amount received through coordination between Center and State

The assistance received from the Central Government has an important contribution in this big decision. According to the information received from the department, the Central Government had approved a total of Rs 200 crore for the material items in Bihar. Keeping in mind the ratio of this amount, Bihar government has decided to release Rs 66 crore 66 lakh 66 thousand as its share. With this amount of state share, now all the big and small schemes related to MNREGA will continue in the state without any interruption.

Basic facilities will be expanded in villages

This budget will have a direct impact on changing the picture of the villages of Bihar. The government is going to use this fund to improve basic facilities in rural areas. Under this, new roads will be constructed in the villages, drains will be cleaned and constructed for drainage. Along with this, new ponds will be constructed and old ponds will be renovated to promote water conservation. Along with earthworks, other necessary structures will also be built with this money.

Incomplete and pending projects will gain momentum

There were many MNREGA schemes in different districts of the state, which were lying incomplete for a long time due to lack of budget or administrative reasons. Now the release of this new amount will help in completing all those pending works on time. Officials believe that the resumption of stalled schemes will create new employment opportunities in rural areas, which may also reduce the problem of migration.
