In Bihar, Sports and Industry Minister Shreyasi Singh gave flight to local sports, players will get direct DSP jobs.
West Champaran, Bettiah. Shreyasi Singh, who is the Sports and Industry Minister of Bihar, has claimed that now the state government is continuously taking Bihar forward in the field of sports and industry by strengthening the sports infrastructure and bringing a new industrial policy to the ground. While addressing the ‘Developed India Resolution Conference’ at Bettiah Ground, Shreyasi Singh also made many big announcements for the youth and sportspersons of the state.

In her announcement, Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh said that there is no dearth of talent in Bihar, if they get the right platform and facilities. Apart from this, he announced that the players of Bihar who have brought glory to the country at the Olympics or international level will be directly given the job of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police). Apart from this, medal winners are also being given a secure future under the ‘Bring Medal, Get a Job’ scheme. So that Bihar can host international competitions soon, high schools are being linked to Eklavya Centers to hone rural level sports talents and world class sports facilities are being created in the state. Apart from this, the state government is taking big steps to stop migration of youth and to create employment at the local level. The process of acquiring more than 14,000 acres of land is underway across Bihar to set up a large network of industries. Apart from this, now all the necessary clearances and licenses are being given to the industries within just one month. The minister said that this is being done to attract investors.
Champaran will become a new industrial hub
Referring specifically to Champaran, the Industries Minister said the government plans to set up industrial units on 500 acres of land in Bettiah Raj and a total of 1,500 acres of land across Champaran. Efforts have been intensified to restart the closed sugar mills and set up new industries in this area so that the local youth do not have to go out of the state for employment. Amidst this program, the Minister also honored the youth and local players who performed brilliantly in different fields by giving them appreciation letters.
