Two Bihar teams declared again in Ranji Trophy, BCA President and Secretary released separate lists

The upcoming season of Ranji Trophy is going to start from October 11. This time Ranji Trophy will be played in two phases. The story of Bihar is again going to be the same as last year. The President and Secretary of Bihar Cricket Association have announced their respective teams. Coincidentally, both have released separate teams.

For the last few days, a case was going on in the court due to mutual differences between the Chairman and the Secretary. In which a few days ago, after the order of Lokpal, Secretary Amit Kumar had announced his team. Patna High Court has put a stay on its earlier decisions. In which there was talk of Amit Kumar assuming the post of Secretary and forming a new selection committee.

Patna High Court removed Lokpal

After which Justice Shailesh Kumar Sinha was made Lokpal after the order of Patna High Court. He was made Lokpal on 5th August, whereas today on 10th October, after a new order of Patna High Court, he has been removed from the post of Lokpal. Following the new order of Patna High Court, the selection committee headed by Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari announced the Ranji Trophy team.

Secretary formed the team without contacting the players

Patna High Court canceled the appointment of Secretary Amit Kumar. In the team formed by the BCA Secretary, neither the players came for trials nor were the players contacted. After which Patna High Court took a strict decision and removed the Lokpal and canceled the team of the Secretary.

Bihar's 20-member team announced

The Bihar team, which has been announced under the chairmanship of Rakesh Tiwari, will participate in the Ranji Trophy starting from October 11. Bihar's first match will be played against Haryana in Haryana. BCA has announced a 20-member squad for the first two matches. Whose captaincy has been handed over to IPL player Veer Pratap Singh.
