Bike riding attacker absconds after stabbing nurse, incident took place near Industry Minister’s residence

Chhattisgarh News: In Korba, around 10:30 am on Friday morning, two bike riders attacked a nurse with a knife and ran away. The incident took place near the bungalow of the Industries Minister and MP located at Pump House D Bungalow Road in CSEB Chowki area. It is being told that the girl is a nurse in the lab of a private hospital. Like every day, she was going for duty on foot this morning too. Meanwhile, two youths arrived from behind on a bike and attacked the girl with a knife on her back and ran away. The knife got stuck in the woman’s back.

Injured taken to hospital

When the girl raised an alarm, the attackers ran away. The girl immediately called her friend. The friend reached the spot and immediately took the girl to the District Medical College Hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, CSEB outpost in-charge Bhimsen reached the spot along with the staff, took information about the incident and informed the higher officials. Korba CSP Prateek Chaturvedi also reached the spot.

Police started investigation

Giving information about the incident, CSP Prateek Chaturvedi said that information has been taken from the girl in the form of an FIR. The girl informed the CSP about the entire incident. He refused to identify the attackers. Police have registered the case and are investigating. Police are also examining the surrounding CCTV footage to identify the attackers.
