Bikers alert! Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets massive Rs 1.14 lakh price cut: Details

Kawasaki has offered a significant price reduction for its flagship litre-class superbike, the Ninja ZX-10R. The motorcycle is now priced at Rs 17.34 lakh, ex-showroom, following a massive Rs 1.14 lakh cut. The model was launched in September at a sticker price of Rs 17.30 lakh, however, shortly after the launch, the manufacturer announced a price hike that raised its price to Rs 18.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
Kawasaki’s recent decision to slash the price is likely aimed to reclaim the value for money proposition of the motorcycle. The ZX-10R locks its horns as a strong contender against rivals like the Suzuki GSX-R1000, and BMW S 1000 RR. Here, let’s quickly take a look at some important highlights about the motorcycle.

Kawasaki ZX-10R: Engine and features

For starters, the Ninja ZX-10R is powered by a liquid-cooled 998cc, in-line 4-cylinder motor that belts out 200 bhp and 114.9 Nm of peak torque. With RAM air intake, the engine output increases to an impressive 210 bhp. This powerplant comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox featuring a bi-directional quickshifter.
