New Bajaj Pulsar 150 launched in India, price starts from Rs 1.09 lakh with LED headlight and smart features
Pulsar 150 Update 2026: Bajaj Auto has launched its most reliable and popular motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market. Bajaj Pulsar 150 A new updated version of has been launched. Recently this bike was seen at the dealership, after which the curiosity of customers about its new avatar had increased a lot. Now the company has officially launched it in the Indian market. The starting price of the new Pulsar 150 has been kept at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the price of Pulsar 150 SD UG has been fixed at Rs 1.12 lakh and the price of Pulsar 150 TD (Twin Disc) UG has been fixed at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
Light new style with old confidence
Bajaj Pulsar has been one of the oldest and most successful models of the company and even today it maintains a strong hold in terms of sales. Keeping in mind the changing preferences of the customers, Bajaj has given a slight design update in it, while the mechanical parts have been kept the same.
What’s new in design?
Talking about design, the classic and muscular look of the new Pulsar 150 has been retained as before. The biggest change is seen in its new LED headlight setup, with which LED turn indicators are also provided. Bajaj has tried to give a modern touch to the bike without disturbing its traditional DNA. The fuel tank design, clip-on handlebar, split seat, alloy wheels and exhaust style have been kept the same.
No changes in mechanical setup
Mechanically, no changes have been made in Pulsar 150. It has the same 149.5cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which generates power of about 13.8 bhp and torque of 13.4 Nm. A 5-speed gearbox is provided with the engine. However, if reports are to be believed, the company may also introduce the next-generation version of Pulsar in the future, in which a new powertrain may be seen.
Suspension, braking and frame
The engine is mounted in a double cradle frame. Telescopic forks are provided at the front and twin gas-charged shocks at the rear. The twin disc variant has 260 mm front and 230 mm disc brakes at the rear, while the single disc variant has a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The bike has 17 inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.

Further advancement due to smart features
With the 2024 update, the Pulsar 150 gets a new digital instrument cluster, which is similar to the Pulsar N150 and N160. It provides information like gear position, real-time and average fuel efficiency, distance to empty and digital clock. Bluetooth connectivity is also provided through Bajaj Ride Connect app, which provides call and notification alerts.
