Bilateral meeting of PM Narendra Modi and Masood Pezeshkian in Kazan, know what happened between the two leaders?

Kazan: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an important meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the 16th BRICS summit held in Kazan, Russia. The main objective of this meeting was to further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Iran. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of trade, energy and regional security.

According to media reports, PM Modi and Pezeshkian showed their commitment to advance mutual interests, especially to improve connectivity through projects like the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). This meeting took place at an important time for both the countries.

After the meeting, when Iranian President Massoud was asked about his experience of talks with PM Modi, he described it as 'very good'.

Pejeshkian-Modi's first meeting

This is the first meeting of Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
