sports desk : Former Indian team all-rounder Yusuf Pathan is celebrating his 42nd birthday today on 17th November. Yusuf Pathan was known for his different style. He was born on 17 November 1982 in Vadodara, Gujarat. Yusuf Pathan made his debut in the Indian team after his younger brother Irfan Pathan. Yusuf Pathan's career did not last long according to his talent.

Yusuf Pathan was a part of the World Cup winning team twice in his short career. However, Yusuf Pathan's bat still speaks in the same style. As I said before. Now Yusuf Pathan is an MP from Baharampur Lok Sabha constituency of West Bengal. Yusuf Pathan was a part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup in 2007 and also in the 2011 World Cup. Yusuf Pathan was considered one of the greatest hitters of the Indian cricket team. In the very first season of IPL, Yusuf Pathan had scored a century against Mumbai Indians in just 37 balls. No one could break his record till 4 seasons. But in 2013, Chris Gayle broke Yusuf's record by scoring a century in 30 balls.

Pathan played an excellent innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014 and scored a half-century in just 15 balls. While playing for KKR, Yusuf played such an innings that everyone kept watching. Hyderabad chased the given target of 160 runs and won in just 14.2 overs. During this, he scored a half-century in 15 balls. He played an inning of 72 runs in 22 balls.

• He made the record for the fastest IPL half-century (in 15 balls) against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014.

• He was the fourth highest scorer and third highest wicket taker in the 2004–05 Ranji Trophy season.
