On behalf of Rajesh Sharma’s family, actress Sudeepa Chatterjee has given official information about Rajesh Sharma’s condition on social media. According to the statement, after the shooting, Rajesh Sharma was chatting with a local technician in a thick bush when he was bitten by an insect. He did not take it seriously at that time. However, after about six hours, severe pain started in his right leg. Even after that he left for Kolkata by plane. During the journey, he developed high fever, restlessness and difficulty in breathing.

The next day, he was immediately admitted to the hospital. According to doctors, the infection in his right leg has spread from the toes to the knee and there are large blisters on the affected area. Dr. Avijit Bhattacharya has clarified that it is too early to say anything definite about his health. Also, the doctor has also expressed the possibility that if a blood clot is formed and it reaches the lungs, it may pose a threat to life. Therefore, doctors are closely monitoring Rajesh Sharma and the family has said that he is not out of danger yet.
