‘BJP Bengal Mandal President was seen instigating the crowd against Abhishek Banerjee…’ TMC’s big allegation

Abhishek Banerjee attacked : On Saturday, there was a fatal attack on former CM Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee in Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas of West Bengal. The politics of the country has started heating up due to this attack. All opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav have targeted BJP regarding this. Meanwhile, TMC has alleged that the BJP Bengal Mandal President was seen instigating the crowd at the time of the incident.

The day after the deadly attack on Abhishek Banerjee, TMC wrote in X Post, “During yesterday’s shocking incident, BJP Bengal Mandal President Abhijit Biswas was seen actively giving instructions and instigating the crowd. This raises a simple question: If the BJP claims that the attack was merely an expression of people’s sudden outburst of anger, then why was a BJP functionary present at the scene and playing such an active role? From whom was he taking instructions?” Who gave permission for this attack? Suvendu Adhikari can continue to avoid accountability.”

Abhishek Banerjee suffered serious injuries

During the hospitalization of Abhishek Banerjee, a big statement of former Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee came out. Mamata Banerjee told the media that if Abhishek had not been wearing a helmet during the attack, he could have lost his life. Blood clots have formed near Abhishek’s chest. The former CM alleged that an attempt was made to damage Abhishek Banerjee’s eyes during the attack. Apart from this, the TMC chief seriously accused the hospital administration and police of not providing treatment and forced discharge due to political pressure. A video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In which a person throws a big stone on Abhishek Banerjee’s face, due to which his glasses fall and his helmet also breaks.

BJP expressed public anger

On the other hand, ruling BJP leaders are terming the attack on Abhishek Banerjee as public anger. Regarding this attack, West Bengal Minister Agnimitra Paul said, “Whatever happened to Abhishek Banerjee is public anger; it is the result of TMC’s atrocities and its violent politics in the last 15 years.” BJP MP Soumitra Khan says that “…this is the result of public anger over his atrocities. Now Abhishek Banerjee will have to bring his politics to the streets…”
