Political war intensifies in Delhi, Ramesh Bidhuri and Atishi reach Election Commission, know the whole matter
New Delhi: In the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP candidate from Kalkaji seat Ramesh Bidhuri and AAP candidate from the same seat Atishi filed complaints against each other in the Election Commission on Thursday. In his complaint to the constituency election officer, Bidhuri alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi was filing false complaints against him and putting undue pressure on the local administration. In his complaint, he alleged that his party workers were campaigning door-to-door in the assembly constituency. Atishi Marlena has called salaried workers from other assembly constituencies for campaigning, who are creating nuisance in public.
BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri alleged in his complaint that Aam Aadmi Party workers misbehaved with BJP workers. In his complaint, the Chief Minister alleged that the police were protecting Bidhuri and his nephew, who were involved in hooliganism. He demanded transfer of officers of Govindpuri police station.
CM Atishi's allegations against Ramesh Bidhuri
Current Delhi CM Atishi accused Ramesh Bidhuri and his nephew of creating an atmosphere of fear in Kalkaji to influence the elections. Atishi alleged that the local police was trying to suppress the case of BJP candidate Bidhuri and his nephew threatening and attacking AAP workers and supporters. Atishi also alleged that police officers were pressurizing AAP workers to give false statements. He alleged that my workers are ready to give written statements in the presence of their lawyer. However, the police are in a hurry to close the case and are forcing the activists to sign incomplete and false statements.

BJP counterattacks on AAP's allegations
The Chief Minister demanded the Election Commission to get the allegations investigated by the police outside the South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. The South Lok Sabha seat was represented by Bidhuri from 2014 to 2024. Responding to the allegations, Bidhuri said that the allegations made are not corroborated by any audio-video recording or oral testimony of any independent witness. He also alleged that Atishi got a fake video circulated to malign his image and influence the elections.
