BJP government is staunchly opposed to the reservation of Dalits, backward classes, extremely backward classes and tribals… Tejashwi Yadav attacked
Patna. Former Deputy CM of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a big attack on the BJP government on the issue of reservation. He said that, our government of 17 months has conducted a caste based survey in Bihar and published the caste enumeration survey on October 2, 2023. On the occasion of my birthday, November 9, 2023, the reservation limit has been increased to 65 percent in government appointments with immediate effect. It was decided to implement it.

After that we passed a proposal to include it in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution and sent it to the Central Government. But the BJP government, which is staunchly opposed to the reservation of Dalits, backward classes, extremely backward classes and tribals, has not yet approved it even after a year. Due to not including the 65 per cent reservation limit in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution, the reserved classes like Dalits, Backwards, Most Backward Classes and Tribals are losing jobs in lakhs of posts.
Tejashwi Yadav further said, if the NDA government does not support the 65 percent reservation limit, then it directly means that according to the 𝟔𝟓% reservation, the reserved classes will get 𝟏𝟔% less jobs in government jobs. Nitish government is responsible for this. This government is running on the strength of JDU but now the party including the Chief Minister does not have the moral and ideological courage to force Baba Saheb's anti-reservation central government to include it in the Ninth Schedule.
BJP people got the 65 percent reservation limit repealed through the back door. Now our demand is that the Bihar government should again bring a new bill and increase its limit to 𝟖𝟓% (𝟕𝟓+ 𝟏𝟎%𝐄𝐖𝐒) and send the proposal to include it in the 9th schedule to the NDA central government.
