CM said, we have given more than 9 lakh government jobs in the state in nine years, out of which only 2 lakh 19 thousand police have been recruited. We have worked to modernize the police system in the state by improving it. Be it the establishment of Forensic Science Laboratory, the construction of Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, formation of UPSSF or the work of revitalizing PAC forces… effective initiatives have been taken in all these areas.
Under the police reform, the police commissionerate system has been implemented in seven districts of the state. Today we have forensic labs, State Forensic Institute, Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UPSSF) and SDRF. Besides, one cyber police station has also been established in each district of the state. Today you must be seeing that about 55 percent of the total infrastructure of the country in the form of expressways is in Uttar Pradesh. Ganga Expressway is going to be completed this month. After its construction, Uttar Pradesh’s share will increase to about 60 percent.
The Chief Minister said, Uttar Pradesh has the largest rail network in the country. Metro is being operated here in most of the cities in the country. The country’s first rapid rail has started between Delhi-Meerut. The country’s first urban ropeway is under construction in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and the country’s first inland water way has also been developed in Uttar Pradesh. He further said, today a total of 16 airports are operating in Uttar Pradesh, of which 04 are international airports. The country’s largest international airport is being developed in Jewar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited for its inauguration on March 28.
He further said, investment comes only when the intentions of the government are good. Investors from Japan, Singapore and Germany are going to come to Uttar Pradesh for large scale investment. Letters related to their proposals have already started being received and the government has started work in this direction. In the state where earlier investors did not come, now investment worth about ₹ 15 lakh crore has moved forward through GBC, while investment proposals worth about ₹ 6 lakh crore are currently ready for implementation.
