New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the grand ‘Rashtra Prerna Sthal’ built in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This place is dedicated to the ideals and ideology of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Huge statues of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay have been installed in this complex developed on 65 acres at a cost of about Rs 230 crore. Along with this, a museum and cultural center has also been built here, the objective of which is to connect the youth with the spirit of nation building.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Modi said that this land of Lucknow is today witnessing a new national inspiration. While extending Christmas wishes, he said that December 25 is also the birthday of two great personalities, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya, whose contribution is indelible in the history of the country.

PM Modi said that as grand as the statues installed at Rashtra Prerna Sthal are, the inspiration received from them is much greater. He said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s dream regarding Jammu and Kashmir was realized by removing Article 370, of which BJP is proud.

Referring to the development journey of Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister said that today ‘Made in India’ products are reaching the world. ‘One District, One Product’ scheme is being successful in UP and a big defense corridor is being developed in the state. He told that the power of BrahMos missile, which the world saw in Operation Sindoor, is being manufactured in Lucknow.

PM Modi said that the foundation of good governance was laid during the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. A network of roads was laid from village to village, Delhi Metro was started and the telecommunication revolution connected the country. Today, carrying forward the same legacy, India has become the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world and UP has become the number one mobile manufacturing state.

The Prime Minister said that true secularism lies in extending the benefits of schemes to the person standing in the last queue without discrimination. Crores of people have benefited from free grains, health facilities and insurance schemes. He called it a celebration of good governance.

He said that today the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is installed in Delhi and many neglected great men are getting due respect.
