Deepali Tiwari, who two months ago through Facebook Live had accused the District President of having physical relations in exchange for the post, has now made a big revelation about the agreement.

She claims that during the investigation process, she was put under constant pressure and threatened to send her husband to jail and spoil the future of her children, after which she was forced to compromise. This new statement of Deepali has once again brought the internal investigation process of BJP and the entire controversy at the center of political debate.

The matter started when former Mahoba district BJP district minister Deepali Tiwari made very serious allegations against BJP district president Mohanlal Kushwaha through Facebook live. He had claimed that he was offered a physical relationship in exchange for a big post in the organization and a district panchayat ticket. Deepali had alleged that the District President had told her, “You have a lot to offer, come to bed with me, I will make you the District Vice President.” Not only this, he had also alleged that later things like giving the district panchayat ticket and taking him along to Lucknow-Delhi were also said.

After these allegations, the matter reached the state level and BJP had formed a committee to investigate it. However, after a few days, Deepali Tiwari came in front of the media and said that the differences between her and the District President have ended and now she has no complaints. At that time District President Mohanlal Kushwaha was also present with him and it was seen as an agreement between both the parties.

Now what did Deepali say after two months?

Now, after about two months, Deepali Tiwari has again released the video and claimed that the agreement was not made with her will, rather huge pressure was put on her. Deepali said that the job of the investigation committee should have been to conduct an impartial investigation, but in her case an attempt was made to intimidate her and force her into a compromise. According to him, Kamalavati, a member of the investigation team, came to meet him and first proposed to make him the regional vice president of the organization. Deepali says that when she rejected it, she was told that if she did not compromise, her husband would be sent to jail and the future of her children would also be ruined. She said, “I had clearly said that I will not compromise with my honour. I had faith in the BJP that justice would be done to me, but the investigation team put continuous pressure on me and ultimately I had to compromise keeping in mind the safety of the family.”

An attempt was made to explain by saying ‘this happens to women’

Deepali Tiwari claimed that Kamalawati, a member of the inquiry committee, told her that such incidents keep happening to women and that she too had received such proposals. After this, she was also made to talk to state level leader Geeta Shakya (whose name Deepali took in her statement) on phone. According to Deepali, she also said there that she would not compromise on her honour, but due to constant pressure, warnings about her family and concerns about the future of her children, she finally had to compromise.

Clarification given on the rumor of ’10 lakh agreement’

Deepali Tiwari also said that after the agreement, a rumor was spread in her community and area that she ended the case by taking Rs 10 lakh. He termed these allegations as completely false and said that he did not receive any money of any kind. On the contrary, he alleged that he now feels that the entire matter was suppressed during the investigation process itself. According to Deepali, she was told that action would be taken against the District President within two months, but nothing like this happened and in the end she was proved wrong.

Politics heated up once again

After this new statement of Deepali Tiwari, the stir in the politics of Mahoba has again intensified. The dispute which was considered to be over with the agreement two months ago, has now come into discussion again with new allegations. At present, there has been no official response from BJP on these latest allegations of Deepali Tiwari.
