BJP made National President Nitin Naveen as Rajya Sabha candidate, first list of 9 names released

Bharatiya Janata Party Rajya Sabha Has released its first list for the biennial elections (Nitin Naveen Rajya Sabha Bihar). The party has declared its national president Nitin Naveen as the Rajya Sabha candidate from Bihar. It is believed that this decision has been taken as per the political strategy of Bihar.

BJP’s Central Election Committee (CEC) has finalized the names of candidates for various states. Elections are to be held on 37 seats of Rajya Sabha, but at present the names of 9 candidates have been declared in the first list.

Candidates declared from these states

Bihar: Nitin Naveen, Shivesh Kumar

Assam: Terash Gowala, Jogen Mohan

Chhattisgarh: Lakshmi Verma

Odisha: Manmohan Samal, Sujit Kumar

Haryana: Sanjay Bhatia

West Bengal: Rahul Sinha

Laxmi Verma has been given the ticket from Chhattisgarh, while Sanjay Bhatia has been made the candidate (Nitin Naveen Rajya Sabha Bihar) from Haryana.

According to party sources, this list has been prepared keeping in mind the organizational balance and upcoming political equations. Names of candidates for other states may also be announced in the coming days.

Political activity has intensified at the national level regarding the Rajya Sabha elections (Nitin Naveen Rajya Sabha Bihar) and all the parties are busy finalizing their strategies.
