AAP government's problems increase, BJP files petition in HC regarding 14 CAG reports, makes serious allegations against AAP
Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the politics of Delhi has again heated up. BJP MLAs have once approached the Delhi High Court with the demand of placing 14 CAG reports related to the government in the Assembly, cornering the AAP government. BJP is continuously demanding the AAP government to submit a report. Now politics has also intensified on this.

Even before this, seven BJP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijendra Gupta, had already filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding tabling of the CAG report from 2017 to 2021 in the Assembly. Vijendra Gupta had called it a matter of surprise and concern.

Now once again seven BJP MLAs have mentioned this matter before the bench of Acting Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela of Delhi High Court on Monday (23 December). However, the court has asked to list it for hearing in the normal course i.e. 'normal order' only.

The matter is pending with CM Atishi
In the petition filed on behalf of BJP by Vijendra Gupta, MLA Mohan Singh Bisht, Om Prakash Sharma, Ajay Kumar Mahawar, Abhay Verma, Anil Bajpai and Jitendra Mahajan, it was said that all these CAG reports are pending with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. In the petition, a demand has been made to direct the Delhi Government to send the CAG reports to the Lieutenant Governor, so that he can present these reports before the Delhi Assembly. It has also been alleged that despite giving assurance in the High Court, the government has not tabled the report even after a week.
