Archana Gupta in Haryana and Keval Singh Dhillon in Punjab, BJP changed state presidents in 4 states including Delhi.

Keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections and the upcoming state assemblies, the Bharatiya Janata Party has made major changes in four states of the country for organizational strength and strategy for the upcoming elections. BJP national president Nitin Naveen has appointed new state presidents in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Tripura. The party has handed over the command of Delhi BJP to Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra. Whereas in Haryana, Archana Gupta has been made the state president. Kewal Singh Dhillon has been given new responsibility in Punjab and Abhishek Debroy in Tripura.

These appointments are being seen as BJP’s strategy to solve electoral and social equations. The party is now preparing to strengthen the organization at the booth level through new faces in the states and launch an aggressive political campaign against the opposition.

Trust in Harsh Malhotra in Delhi

By making Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra the Delhi BJP President, the party has tried to tap the urban and Bania vote bank. Harsh Malhotra has been active in Delhi politics for a long time and has a strong hold within the organization. He has special influence in the East Delhi area and his image among the workers is considered to be a grassroots leader. The BJP leadership hopes that under his leadership the party will further strengthen the organization in Delhi and prepare a new strategy for the upcoming assembly elections. The party is preparing to adopt an aggressive stance against both Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in the capital.

Archana Gupta gets big responsibility in Haryana

BJP has given a big signal to advance women leadership in Haryana by making Archana Gupta the state president. Archana Gupta has been active in the organization for a long time and has also been associated with many social campaigns. The party leadership believes that she can strengthen BJP’s hold among women, youth and urban voters. Considering the recent political equations and caste balance in Haryana, his appointment is being considered a strategic decision. BJP is now preparing to reactivate the organization in the state and respond to the increasing attacks of Congress.

Bet on only Singh Dhillon in Punjab

By handing over the command of Punjab BJP to Kewal Singh Dhillon, the party has given the message of giving prominence to Sikh faces. Kewal Singh Dhillon has been active in the state politics for a long time and is considered to have influence in the Malwa region. BJP is continuously trying to increase its base in Punjab and after separating from Akali Dal, it is busy in creating new social equations. The party hopes that under the leadership of Dhillon, the acceptance of BJP among the rural and Sikh community will increase. It will also help in strengthening the organization at village and district level.

Command given to Abhishek Debroy in Tripura

To maintain its strong hold in the Northeast, BJP has appointed Abhishek Debroy as Tripura State President. Abhishek Debroy is considered an active young face in the organization and is said to have a strong hold within the party. BJP is emphasizing on organizational expansion and pursuing the politics of development in the North-Eastern states. In such a situation, his appointment in Tripura is being seen as promoting youth leadership. The party hopes that he will further strengthen the organizational structure of BJP in the state and keep the political edge of the party sharp against the opposition.
