In response to a question on the meeting of Brahmin MLAs of BJP held in Lucknow, he said that BJP is a party of all the society. Our Constitution does not allow anyone, it is not right that BJP representatives should hold meetings on caste basis. For this reason, I have also talked to him and warned him. I have given instructions that in future there should not be any such meeting which is against party discipline.

Recently, Brahmin MLAs in Uttar Pradesh had organized a meeting at the residence of BJP MLA from Kushinagar, PN Pathak. 35-40 Brahmin leaders from BJP and various parties participated in this meeting. In the meeting, issues of neglect of Brahmin community and suppressing their voice were raised, after which there was a stir in the political circles.

Pankaj Chaudhary had given strict instructions to the party MLAs. He had said that any MLA would have to stay away from negative or caste-based politics. He had clearly said that any activity against the principles and ideals of the party will not be accepted. Describing BJP’s politics as based on principles, Chaudhary said that the party does not do politics of any particular caste or class.

We have made it clear to all the public representatives that such activities are against the constitutional traditions of the party. He said that if any public representative takes part in such activities in future, it will be considered as indiscipline and the party will take action under the Constitution.

Emphasis on party politics

Chaudhary also said in the end that BJP’s politics is based on diversity and democracy. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the caste-based politics of the opposition is coming to an end in the face of developmental politics and nationalism.
