BJP strict on leaders who rebelled during civic elections, preparing to give show cause to 20

Ranchi: BJP will show-cause about 20 leaders active against party-backed candidates in the municipal elections in Jharkhand. These include former district president of Daltonganj Parshuram Ojha, former district president of Dhanbad Satyendra Kumar, former district president of Jamshedpur metropolis Rajkumar Srivastava. Apart from these, notices will be issued to Chas Mayor candidate Parinda Singh, Deoghar Mayor candidate Baba Baliase and former Dhanbad MLA Sanjeev Singh who is also a Mayor candidate. If the answer is not found satisfactory then they can also be thrown out of the organization. The organization has collected CDs of videos and speeches of the report and the campaign being conducted in protest.

State President Aditya Prasad Sahu has made it clear in consecutive meetings that strict action will be taken against those who contest against the supported candidates or campaign in support of the opposing candidates. Former district president of Jamshedpur Rajkumar Srivastava has fielded his wife Kumkum Srivastava in the elections against Mango-supported candidate Sandhya Singh. In Dhanbad, Satyendra Kumar is campaigning in favor of Ravi Chaudhary as against the supported candidate, while former MLA Sanjeev Singh is also in the fray against the authorized candidate.
The central organization has direct supervision over Jharkhand civic elections. The central leadership has entrusted the responsibility in the state to National Vice President Rekha Verma, National General Secretary Arun Singh and National Minister Rituraj Sinha. On Friday, Arun Singh held meetings in favor of Ranchi’s party-backed mayoral candidate Roshni Khalkho. His program is scheduled in Medinagar on Saturday and Garhwa on Sunday. The party has a clear message that there should be no confusion in the civic elections as to who is the authorized candidate. The organization is now in a mood to take a tough and decisive stand on the issue of discipline.
