Just a day after the rebellion of 7 Rajya Sabha MPs including Raghav Chadha, BJP tried to corner Arvind Kejriwal. BJP targeted the bungalow allotted to Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in Lodhi Estate by calling it Sheeshmahal-2. BJP alleged that personal money has been spent in the bungalow so that amenities can be arranged here. However, Aam Aadmi Party denied BJP’s claims. The pictures shown of Pravesh Verma were declared fake.
Delhi Public Works Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma held a press conference at the BJP headquarters on Saturday. He said, ‘Aam Aadmi Party should be called ‘Shaandaar Aadmi Party’. Will Kejriwal tell us how much money has been invested in the Lodhi Road bungalow or the new ‘Sheesh Mahal’? Where did this money come from and whose money is it?

BJP asked- Which company’s money was invested?
Pravesh Sahib Verma further said, ‘Is it not true that honest workers of your Aam Aadmi Party are leaving the party because of your greed? What is the need to build such ‘Sheesh Mahal’ again and again? Which company has invested its money in this ‘Sheesh Mahal’?
Taking a dig at Arvind Kejriwal, Pravesh Verma said, ‘When the conscious voters of Delhi forced him to move out of ‘Sheesh Mahal’, he went to Punjab, where he grabbed a bungalow. Now he has completed ‘Sheesh Mahal 2’ in Lodhi Estate.
Pravesh Verma claimed that Arvind Kejriwal’s new residence is at 95, Lodhi Estate. Where they have now gone to live. This residence has 5 bedrooms and 4 drawing rooms. It has more luxurious amenities than any other bungalow in Lutyens’ Delhi.

‘How much money was spent?’
Let us tell you that the Central Government has allotted Type VII bungalow in Lodhi Estate to Arvind Kejriwal as AAP convenor. Showing the picture of the bungalow, Pravesh Verma said that the Central Public Works Department does not spend so much money on bungalows. He alleged that personal money has been spent to provide best-in-class amenities. He sought information from the Aam Aadmi Party about the expenditure incurred on the bungalow and the source of money.
Atishi said- all the pictures are fake
Former Delhi CM Atishi said, ‘All the pictures released by Pravesh Verma are fake. These are not pictures of Kejriwal’s house. To know whose house is more luxurious, (Chief Minister) Rekha Gupta and Lieutenant Governor should open their houses and Kejriwal ji will open his house. The public will decide for itself.
