Samajwadi Party and Aam Aadmi Party have accused the government of negligence and corruption, calling it a fake or poisonous medicine. He called it a “medical emergency” and “BJP’s poisonous model”. However, the CMO and the District Magistrate say that the medicine was standard Albendazole and the symptoms could have been caused by allergy, anxiety, or panic in the crowd. All children are now well or stable, and there have been no reports of serious deaths or permanent harm.
