BJP Candidates Second List: Bharatiya Janata Party has released the second list of its 29 candidates in the Delhi Assembly elections. BJP has made Kapil Mishra its candidate from Karawal Nagar seat. Meanwhile, Raj Karan Khatri has got the ticket from Narela seat, Surya Prakash Khatri from Timarpur, Gajendra Daral from Mundka and Bajrang Shukla from Kirari seat. This time, BJP has fielded Kapil Mishra by canceling the ticket of sitting MLA Mohan Singh Bisht from Karawal Nagar.

Apart from this, Abhay Verma has once again been made the candidate from Laxmi Nagar. Abhay Verma is the sitting MLA from Lakshmi Nagar. Karma Singh Karma from Sultanpur Majra, Karnail Singh from Shakur Basti, Tilak Ram Gupta from Tri Nagar, Manoj Kumar Jindal from Sadar Bazaar, Satish Jain from Chandni Chowk, Deepti Indora from Matia Mahal, Kamal Bagri from Ballimaran, Harish Khurana from Moti Nagar, Urmila has been given ticket to Kailash Gangwal from Madipur.

BJP has fielded Shyam Sharma from Hari Nagar, Shweta Saini from Tilak Nagar, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh from Vikaspuri, Pawan Sharma from Uttam Nagar, Pradyuman Rajput from Dwarka, Sandeep Sehrawat from Matiala, Neelam Pehalwan from Najafgarh, Kulpid Solanki from Palam, Rajinder Nagar from Umang Bajaj, Neeraj Basoya from Kasturba Nagar, Rohtas Bidhuri from Tughlakabad, Okhla. Apart from Manish Chaudhary, Priyanka Gautam from Kondli, Anil Gaur has been made candidate from Seelampur.

Names yet to be announced on 12 seats

BJP has so far announced the names of candidates on 58 seats. There are a total of 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, out of which the names of candidates for 12 seats are yet to be announced by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Let us tell you that BJP had released the first list of 29 candidates on January 4. The names of 29 candidates are also included in the second list.

Kapil Mishra joined BJP from AAP in 2019

Let us tell you that Kapil Mishra was earlier in the Aam Aadmi Party, but in 2019 he joined BJP. Mishra has also been the Water Resources Minister in Kejriwal's government. In the 2015 assembly elections in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party had fielded Kapil Mishra from Karawal Nagar seat. Then Kapil won the election by defeating his opponent BJP candidate Mohan Singh Bisht by a margin of 44,431 votes.
