BLACKPINK’s Rosé reveals her absurd yet exciting retirement plan; know more
Rosé of BLACKPINK recently returned with a song called “APT,” which featured Bruno Mars. The artist recently stated in an interview that when she retires, she hopes to buy a cilantro farm.
Rosé of BLACKPINK appeared in an interview-style feature titled “Now Serving” for the international magazine Vogue on October 21, 2024. Meanwhile, Kimchi fried rice, the artist’s favorite dish, was prepared along with a fast snack and served with somaek, a beverage. During the cooking process, she liberally added one ingredient—cilantro to everything. She mentioned how much she loved the item and used it in most of her dishes.
Her longtime ambition is to construct it like a winery and serve a comprehensive menu with a cilantro theme. As part of her retirement strategy, Rosé envisions herself lounging while sipping a cilantro drink.
Since its debut, Rosé’s song “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars has become incredibly popular, accumulating countless streams and views across several platforms. Rosé is the first female K-pop star to have a number one single on the global Spotify list. Within three days of its debut, the song had received 34 million plays on the platform. Furthermore, the song’s music video has received over 85 million views on YouTube.
Rosé had already declared her intention to sign with Teddy, the producer of THE BLACK LABEL. Additionally, she is connected to Atlantic Records, which is home to pop artists like Charli XCX and Ed Sheeran. The singer has also revealed that Rosie, her first solo studio album, will be available on December 6, 2024.
