Was Ashwin insulted before his retirement? Father Ravichandran made serious allegations

Indian cricket fans were still able to get over the shock of Ravichandran Ashwin's retirement when Ashwin's father Ravichandran made such a revelation that there has been an earthquake in the cricket world again. Ashwin's father said that the retirement decision came as a surprise to many in his family, adding that he wanted his son to continue playing for the senior national team.

Ravichandran alleged that his son was being humiliated, which according to him could be one of the reasons for Ashwin's sudden retirement from international cricket. Although Ravichandran did not elaborate on his allegation, it seems that he was pointing towards Ashwin not getting consistent opportunities in overseas Test matches. Ashwin reached Chennai on Thursday morning after taking retirement.

Ashwin's father Ravichandran, speaking to News18, said, “I also came to know (about his retirement) at the last moment. Retiring is his wish and desire, I cannot interfere in it, but the way he took this decision There could be many reasons for that, only Ashwin knows, maybe he was insulted.”

Ravichandran further said, “There is no doubt (it was an emotional moment for the family) because he was on the field for 14-15 years. The sudden change, the retirement really surprised us. Also, we were expecting it. How long could he tolerate all this? I don't know what was going on in his mind. Too Accepted it with full joy. I had no problem with it, but on the one hand I was very happy with the way he retired, on the other hand I was not happy because he should have continued playing.
