Rishabh Pant keeps entertaining the fans with his funny antics and conversations behind the stumps and he showed a glimpse of it once again. On the first day of the second Test between India and New Zealand held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on October 24, Pant once again made headlines with his witty style.

While New Zealand were batting in their first innings, Pant was heard advising Washington Sundar on bowling strategy against Ajaz Patel. Pant said, “Vashi can bowl ahead, you can bowl a little fuller. You can bowl a little outside.” Sundar followed Pant's advice and bowled a fuller ball but Patel hit a six on the front side.

On the first day of the second Test match, New Zealand was all out on the score of 259 in just 79.1 overs in the first innings. Conway faced 141 balls and added 76 runs hitting 11 fours, while Rachin Ravindra contributed 65 runs in 105 balls. Sundar took maximum 7 wickets for India. By the end of the first day's play, India had scored 16 runs after losing one wicket in 11 overs. At the time of stumps, Yashasvi Jaiswal (6) and Shubman Gill (10) were playing and the Indian team's score was 16 runs after losing one wicket in 11 overs.
