Fans will not be able to watch the Vijay Hazare Trophy match of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma live, know the reason.
The return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 has greatly increased the enthusiasm of the fans regarding domestic cricket. After a long time, both the legends will be seen playing for different teams, on which everyone’s eyes are fixed. However, there remains a big question in the minds of the spectators about watching these matches live.
The return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 has made domestic cricket special. Rohit Sharma will be seen playing for Mumbai, while Virat Kohli will represent the Delhi team. Both the greats will be seen in List-A cricket after a long time, hence the fans are eager to watch the live telecast of their matches.
However, in the current situation, fans will not be able to watch these matches live on TV or online platforms. Actually, in Vijay Hazare Trophy, 19 matches are played in a single day and a total of 38 teams are in action. For this reason, BCCI telecasts only limited matches, as has been happening in Ranji Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy also.
According to media reports, this season, telecast arrangements have been made only for the main ground matches played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai matches will be played in Jaipur, while Virat Kohli will take the field for Delhi in Bengaluru, which is not included in these broadcast venues.
However, a slight ray of hope still remains. Earlier, after Kohli’s presence in Ranji Trophy, a Delhi match was added to the broadcast list at the last moment. But at present, there has been no official confirmation from BCCI about any changes for the group stage matches of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
