Afghanistan vs Bangladesh ODI: Afghanistan has announced a 19-member team for the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. Uncapped top order batsman Sediqullah Atal has been included in the team. At the same time, spinner Noor Ahmed has returned to the ODI team, who last played in March this year. Ibrahib Zadran and Mujeeb Ur Rahman are out of this series due to injuries.
Ibrahim is recovering from ankle surgery he recently had in England, while Mujeeb is still recovering from a right foot sprain.
Afghanistan Cricket Board chief selector Ahmed Shah Suleimankhil said, “Ibrahim Zadran is currently undergoing rehab and recently underwent surgery. Mujeeb ur Rahman is also unavailable due to ongoing treatment. However, Noor Ahmed is back in the team, and we have added a promising top-order batsman in Sediqullah Atal, who has impressed everyone with his consistent performances.”
The three-match ODI series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be played in Dubai on 6, 9 and 11 November.
