Bloodhounds Season 2 Release Date: When will new season drop? Here’s everything we know so far

Bloodhounds is the most popular South Korean action K-drama series available on Netflix (a.k.a. 사냥개). The anticipation for Bloodhounds as a major k-drama on global OTT streaming platforms right now is mounting quickly due to the intense portrayals of brotherhood, vengeance, and brutal underground boxing seen in the two main characters, Gun-woo (Kim Seon-ho) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yeob), coming together… Season 2 will offer not only a continuation of that storyline but with even higher stakes, explosive fight scenes, true loyalty, and unending action against the backdrop of an international syndicate, all building off the emotional highs and adrenaline-filled action from Season 1 in 2023.

Bloodhounds Season 2 Release Date: What We Know So Far

In January 2024, a decision was made to continue with this series; filming was to begin in September 2024. The continued development over the past few years can be seen by the long wait for Season 1 (June 2023) until now, through Season 2.  Now Season 2 has been confirmed to Premiere on Saturday, April 3, 2026.

Netflix announced this via an announcement that included the release of a teaser trailer and promotional poster at the start of March 2026. The entire season’s episodes will be available to watch globally through Netflix, and as of now, we assume that there will be no restrictions placed on viewing them as “binge” viewers.

As Season 2 gets underway, both Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) & Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) must deal with an underground global illegal boxing empire and a very powerful new syndicate; loved ones are imperiled, large amounts of fighting will continue but also revenge and brotherhood will be themes in this next season, and there will be an addition of a new antagonist (played by Rain, aka Jung Ji-hoon) which will help to increase the tension of the storyline.

Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi will reprise their roles as the boxing duo. Rain will play a major role in the second season. There will probably be other returning cast members who may be familiar to audiences from Season 1; however, details have not been provided.

The initial trailer can be viewed on the Netflix YouTube Channel or the TUDUM YouTube Channel. It features Gun Woo and Woo Jin back in the ring, battling each other as battered but still determined fighters; there is also some serious action footage throughout the button display of high-octane productions.
