Bloody ‘dinner’ in Ghaziabad! First had dinner with his wife and friend, then fired bullets into both of their chests; City shaken by double murder

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light last night in Loni area of Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi. In Rampark (Buddha Bazaar) locality of Tronica City police station area, a husband brutally shot and killed his wife and her lover. The surprising thing is that till some time before the murder incident, all three were sitting in the same room and having dinner together.

According to the police, the accused husband Rashid suspected illicit relations between his 36-year-old wife Shabnam and his own friend Faheem (32 years). Rashid often opposed this matter, due to which there was tension in the house for a long time.

At around 12:40 last night, police received information that a fight had taken place in Rashid’s house. When the police reached the spot, the scene in the room was horrifying. Shabnam’s body was lying soaked in blood on the sofa, while Faheem’s body was also lying nearby. Both were shot in the head. After committing the crime, accused Rashid fled from the spot.

Forensic team reached the spot

Seeing the seriousness of the incident, top officials including DCP Rural Surendra Nath Tiwari reached the spot with heavy police force and forensic team. Initial investigation has revealed that during a conversation between the three, a dispute suddenly escalated and Rashid lost his temper and killed both of them with an illegal weapon. Police have collected evidence from the spot and have sent both the bodies for post-mortem.

Four teams engaged in search of the accused

DCP Rural Surendra Nath Tiwari said that four special police teams have been formed to arrest the accused Rashid. Police is raiding his possible hideouts. Legal action has been initiated after receiving the complaint from the family members. After this double murder, there is silence in the area and the police is claiming to send the accused behind the bars soon.
