Blue Box Season 2: Plot details
The new season will begin shortly after the conclusion of Season 1, where we find the passionate badminton player, Taiki, and Chinatsu, the great basketball player who has been playing at home, growing closer to each other, and starting a relationship (including their first date). So, expect to see their relationship develop and deepen along with the intense competition in their respective sports, the training of each athlete, and their personal growth.
Hina’s story is still evolving after she was rejected by Taiki, and we will meet new characters such as Yumeka Goto (Chinatsu’s past teammate), adding to the complex emotional relationships and rivalries between the characters. In addition to the many new faces they will encounter as they begin to find a balance between young love, the pressure of competing against each other, team pressure, and building the desire to compete at the national level as second-year students at Eimei High School.
There are new teaser visuals and trailers with the theme of ‘blue’ that indicate the theme of romance/sports for Chinatsu. There is no confirmed number of total episodes yet, but it will continue to adapt the manga with additional manga chapters to adapt (there are currently over 190 manga chapters, and they are still being uploaded).
Blue Box is on track to receive a large number of emotional moments for both Taiki and Chinatsu, as well as a lot of high-level competition, and further development of all characters in this very popular series based on the Shonen Jump manga.
