New Delhi. A bus driver of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) suffered a heart attack while driving in Bengaluru. He fell on the steering wheel. It is fortunate that due to the wisdom of the bus conductor, a major accident was averted.

It can be seen in the video that the driver suffered a heart attack while driving. After this he immediately fell on his seat. The bus even went out of control for a while. After this the conductor immediately came and took over the steering wheel and stopped the bus.

BMTC engaged in investigation
BMTC issued a statement expressing condolences to the driver's family and praised the conductor's life-saving actions. Authorities are investigating the incident to determine if there were any underlying health issues that could have been addressed with routine medical checkups. BMTC has also assured that they will provide necessary support to the driver's family in this difficult time. A statement said that it is with great sadness that we have to announce the untimely demise of Driver Kiran Kumar of Depot 40, who passed away due to a sudden heart attack on 6th November.
