The BMW M 1000 R, which is already available in the international markets, is BMW Motorrad’s flagship naked roadster, built on the M 1000 RR supersport platform. It’s the perfect blend of street-legal dynamics and racetrack capabilities, featuring M-specific components like carbon fiber winglets and a titanium exhaust. Its predecessor was brought to India in CBU (Completely Built-Up) form, with prices starting around Rs 33 lakh, ex-showroom.

The 2026 model retains the original 999cc inline-four water/oil-cooled engine, now tuned for better mid-range torque from 10,000 rpm. According to official figures, it delivers a maximum power of 205 hp at 13,750 rpm and a top speed of 173 mph. Thanks to BMW ShiftCam technology for Variable Valve Timing, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
