Body Detox After Diwali: Diwali, the festival of lights, is a festival of celebration and eating various dishes and sweets. Despite all our efforts, during this festival which lasts for 5 days, we all generally become victims of overeating. Which affects our health even if we don't want to. Bacteria harmful to health start growing in our body. Due to which people often have to face problems like indigestion, bloating, acidity, stomach pain, poor sleep etc.
As a result, to avoid after effects, we are forced to think about how to maintain our health to stay fit. It is important to remove harmful bacteria from the body for health. For this, it is necessary to detoxify the body, distress the liver and strengthen the internal organs. For this, some Ayurvedic remedies are helpful which are easily available at home-

Take care of hydration
In this season of arrival of winter, one often feels less thirsty. Due to which less water is drunk. Which is wrong because water not only maintains hydration in the body but also detoxifies it. It is beneficial to drink Usha Paan or a glass of lukewarm water on an empty stomach in the morning. It is more useful to drink the juice of half a lemon mixed in hot water. One should drink water every one-and-a-half hour during the day. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day. You can also take coconut water or vegetable juice once a day.
Drinking infused water is more beneficial. For this, put things of your choice in at least one liter of water at night and drink the prepared infused water in the morning or throughout the day. Grated ginger, apple, cinnamon, cucumber, mint, lemon, orange, basil, cardamom, cloves, oregano, cinnamon, fenugreek seeds. The quality of water increases which helps in detoxifying the body.
eat light food
During the festival season, mostly heavy food is eaten which increases the acetic level in the body. To balance this, it is important to eat alkaline food. Keep in mind to eat fresh, hot and light home-cooked food. Eat only when you feel hungry. Take fiber rich diet. Avoid fried or heavy food for a few days. Consume at least 2 bowls of seasonal vegetables a day like broccoli, spinach, bathua, fenugreek, mustard, cabbage. Be sure to consume fiber rich salad. Because raw vegetables contain high amounts of vitamins and minerals which help in removing toxins from the body.
Take probiotics like curd, yogurt, asafoetida, cumin and celery mixed with buttermilk and fermented foods with food. The healthy bacteria present in it help in maintaining gut health and detoxifying the body. It is important to avoid consuming sugary foods after Diwali like sweets, processed foods, baked foods, cold drinks, shakes, juices. Include lemon in your diet. Lemon is a very good detoxification agent. Drink lemon tea once a day. Use lemon in food also.
take fruit diet
Try to consume more seasonal fruits during the day. Sweet fruits reduce the increased sugar cravings due to Diwali. Fruits rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants help in strengthening the digestive system of the body and detoxifying the body.
have green tea
Take green tea at least twice a day. Use ginger, basil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom in it. Rich in antioxidants, green tea helps in detoxifying the body and boosting the metabolic system of the body. Green tea also helps in reducing the fat accumulated in the body and helps in keeping the mood fresh.
make with caffeine distance
Avoid consuming caffeinated substances like tea and coffee. These weaken the digestive system due to which acidity problems may also occur.
Detox bath is also beneficial
Massage your body for 10-15 minutes before bathing at least 4-5 days a week. Massage helps in detoxifying the body. Taking a detox bath would be more beneficial. For this, you can add one spoon of Epsom salt, a little coconut oil or essential oil like lavender oil in the bathing water. By taking a detox bath, the body becomes quite relaxed and toxins are released.
take triphala
Consume one spoon of Triphala powder with warm milk every night before sleeping. These are also beneficial- Consume Aloe Vera juice, Amla, Amaltas, Gotukala once a day.
turmeric milk
You can take turmeric milk before sleeping at night. Mix one-fourth teaspoon turmeric, green cardamom and a small piece of cinnamon in a cup of milk and boil it. Filter and drink. Turmeric helps in preventing stomach related problems.
get plenty of sleep
Make sure to take at least 7-8 hours of sleep at night. Take power naps of 1-2 hours a day as often as possible. This will rejuvenate the body.
do exercise
If your exercise routine has been disturbed due to festivals, then start it again. Doing exercises like yoga, walking, jogging helps in reducing sweating and improves the metabolic system of the body due to which toxins are removed from the body.
