Body of temple caretaker found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances in Bangladesh, investigation underway

According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Nayan Sadhu, whose age is said to be around 40 years. He was a resident of Chattogram area and was working as a caretaker in a Shiva-Kali temple.
Awaiting post mortem report
According to local reports, some unknown people had taken him away in the evening. After this he did not return. Three days later, his body was found hanging from a tree in a deserted hilly area away from the village. Quoting police sources, local media said that by the time the body was found, it had started decomposing. However, the authorities have not yet clarified whether this is a case of murder or suicide. The investigation is ongoing and the post mortem report is awaited.
Demand for strict action against the culprits
After this incident, organizations associated with minority communities of Bangladesh have expressed deep concern. Bangladesh Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Council has demanded strict action against the culprits in this case. At the same time, the organization says that such incidents which are continuously coming to light raise serious questions regarding the safety of minorities.
International concern also came to light over the incident
Meanwhile, while talking to the media, the members of the organization said that the death of a person working in a remote temple in this manner is extremely worrying and the reasons behind it should be impartially investigated. Concern is also being expressed in India about this incident, because in some similar incidents before this, bodies of people belonging to minority community were found in suspicious condition.
