New Delhi. A bomb blast took place in Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana, at 5 pm on Wednesday. This bomb blast took place just outside the BJP office located in Sector-37. The sound of the blast was heard far away. As soon as information about the bomb blast was received, senior police officers along with the fire department and police force reached the spot. Investigation into the matter has been started. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area after the bomb blast. Police have sealed the entire area and are scanning the surrounding CCTV cameras.

Let us tell you that around 5 pm on Wednesday evening, a scooter was parked outside the Punjab BJP headquarters located in Sector-37 of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana. There was a huge explosion in the scooter. However, there was no loss of life or property in this blast. Chandigarh SSP and IG Pushpendra Kumar have reached the spot. Whose scooter this was is not yet known. There is no damage inside the BJP office also. Fire brigade, dog squad and bomb squad have also reached the spot. The forensic team has also reached the spot and is collecting samples. After this incident, the entire city has been put on alert.
